The Duleek Heritage app is published by Excel Web Design (“we”, “us”). It is a free guide to the heritage sites of Duleek, Co. Meath, Ireland, developed with funding under the Town & Village Scheme 2017 through the Department of Rural and Community Development and Meath County Council.
Summary
The app does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
Information stored on your device
The app remembers your chosen language (English, Irish, French, German, Italian or Spanish) in the app’s local storage on your device. This preference never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Third-party services
To display its content, the app makes ordinary internet requests to two third-party services. As with any internet request, these services receive your device’s IP address in order to respond:
OpenStreetMap — the interactive map is drawn using map tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation (their privacy policy).
Google Fonts — the app’s typefaces are loaded from Google’s font servers (Google Fonts privacy information).
We do not send these services any information about you, and we receive no information back from them about your use of the app.
Permissions
The app requests internet access only. It does not request your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or any other permission. If you use the “directions” feature, the app simply opens your device’s own maps application, which is governed by that application’s privacy policy.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data, it collects no data from children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
